This is a poem about how I feel about winter.
Winter days the cold air blows The chill of all its power shows, A snowflake gently touches my face how I wish I could just stay in this place, Cold my hands and warm my heart I think of my mother whom now from this earth she did depart. Her love of winter she passed to me, each time it snows her eyes full of glee. Oh winter days your cold not felt with hearts so warm the snowflake melts. I think of her as days go by and how her body had grown so sick to ease the pain she had to die. God keeps her warm in the winter days, now in his arms she gently lays. Each snowflake falling none the same, as if I could call them each by name. Winter days your cold air blows, your power within me always knows, Life is precious now I know why the chill of it blesses my soul.
