HEART BROKEN SILENTLY

The day was bright, the clouds were soft
And was gently blowing the breeze
Autumn it was when we met
Watching you seemed my heart did cease
How we talked throughout the night
World was dark, but you brought me light
How soothing your presence was to me
How happy I was the world could see
But for you in time I couldn’t make
Nobody knew silently a heart did break

You said you are getting married
Darkness surrounded me once more
With all my love I couldn’t hold you back
A tide so hardly lashed on shore
And nobody did hear any sound
The moments we spent together won’t anymore be found
Every dream and every wish is lost
I paid the pieces of my heart as love’s cost
All my efforts seemed to be fake
Nobody knew silently a heart did break
