A story about a stupid girl who falls for a boy.
Once upon a time,
there was a boy and a girl.
The boy was confident, funny, smart, and
charming. The girl was shy, insecure, and
a sucker for blue eyes. This boy, he knew
how to play the game well, and the poor
girl didn’t stand a chance. He said all the
right words and the right lines.

They were so different,
and yet, so                              s i m i l a r .
He was her best friend,
he                    was                    so                    much                     more.

Now this girl is not your
hopeless romantic. She
never imagined she would
feel the way she did about
him.
                                                                                      But I guess your first
                                                                            boyfriend does that to you.

Maybe it was infatuation,
maybe it was love.
One thing is for sure;
it was one-sided.

The girl was foolish and believed
that this amazing boy felt the same
way. However, he had  w a n d e r i n g  eyes .

And before long, it was over.

                                                    The girl
                                      was crushed beyond belief.
Her self-esteem took a major hit.
                                      She constantly wondered
just what was wrong with her.

With the help of her friends,
she realized she could and would do better next time.
She realized she did not need this stupid boy.
He was too short for her anyways.
                                    She started to move on…

A few months later,
the boy came                    running back into her          life.
She had missed his friendship                              dearly,
so she welcomed him with                    open           arms.

Then
he ruined it all with one sentence:
I          still                    like                    you.
He wanted to know if she would date him again.
Of course, she wanted to. She could not turn off
her feelings for him, no matter how hard she tried.
He was her
one                              major                               weakness.

They had a connection, she believed with her whole heart.

In the limbo between “friends” and finally dating,
there were many warning signs. Things that
should have made her stop
                                    and reconsider.

However, she did not want to believe
what she then considered lies. They
are just jealous, she thought, and
pushed onward. She continued to
spend as much time with him as
possible. Certain things she had
always believed in, she was
beginning to look at                    d i f f e r e n t l y .

She was
            falling
                  again,
                          harder
                                  and
                                        faster
                                              than
                                                      ever.

He promised to catch her, should she fall.
Sadly, this boy is a liar, a very good one at that.

This                    foolish,                          girl
            poor,                      infatuated,

did not think twice, and let herself be
consumed by her feelings for him.
He was
          all she thought about,
                                          day      and          night.

She spent her time
                            c
                                o
                                  u
                                    n
                                      t
                                        i
                                          n
                                            g
the moments till she would see him again.

He showered her with attention and compliments and little gifts.
She          felt           like          the        luckiest           girl
                                                                                      in the world.

He said they were “meant to be”.
Of course, she believed him.
                                                                              Never once did the thought
cross her mind that maybe
she wasn’t the only one in
his thoughts.

No, she believed that they were
                                              destined      to      fall           in      love.

                                  Soon, things would change.
One fateful day, it all became
                                              c l e a r
to this girl that the boy had
                          not    changed      his              ways.
Rather, he had just gotten better at lying.

                                        He had cheated.
                                      And just like that,
                                        it was all over.

                                        And once again,
                                          this girl was
                                            a l o n e .

The pain was excruciating.
Her heart tore in two, and

she        to          herself                to        from              apart.
      had            hold            together      keep        falling

                                                                              Everywhere she went,
                                                                      there were reminders of him.
                                                                          Memories suffocated her.
Again, her friends had to
                       pick
                             up
              the
                      p          i      e          c          e          s.
                             of
                                       her
                                              s      h      a    t      t            e      r          e    d
                                       heart.
What she had done to deserve friends like these,
                                                                                  she did not know.

Slowly, she started the process of
                                            m  o  v  i  n g  o n …

Someday,          all this will be behind her.
Someday,          she will fall in love with a guy who deserves her.
Someday,          this will be a distant memory.
