Clueless

These guys we admire and quote
Scotus, Aristotle, Plato
Did they actually get what they sought
Or was it all just a show?

Because the way i see it
You're clueless till you die
You'll never get any of it
No matter how hard you try

At ten, you think when you're
Twenty, you'll have it all down pat
Will have an answer to it all
Will know why you're here for a fact

After living half your life
You think you'll know any day
About whats what and why
You do what you do everyday

You spend your last years
Thinking over your life's mess
Wishing you had lived it differently
But how? as to that, still clueless

I bet when people are dying
They probably think: "everyone
Up there is Heaven, they
Really MUST know it all!"

Take a break,ticking clock
You're leaving us so lost
Cant keep up with the pace
Almost like you're trying to mock

So as to why we're living
The way we are, we'll always
Remain clueless. all we can do
Is...just keep living.
