Throw it away

10 A.M. I just got up
Time to do my morning regiment
Only 6 more hours till I see your face
Throw on some clothes, grab my keys
and run out the front door... cause this is what I'm ready for!

In my car, drive around with the music on high
no where to go for a while so I'll kill some time
Pop in that new CD that I got last night
turn it up a little louder now I'm feeling alright!

I've been waiting all day for this one little moment
words lost cause I don't want to throw it all away...

4:00 I pull up to your house
So excited as I walk up to your door
you step out and hug me for a while
Grab my hand, pull me in
tell me stay right there... guess I'm not going anywhere!

In your room, on your bed with the music up high
laying here, gotta ask, will you finally be mine?
Silent stares, saddened eyes, saying "not tonight"
"I'm sorry" and "are you gonna be alright?"

10:00 you call my phone
crying as you try to make it better
nothing you say can fix what you broke
hang up the phone, grab my jacket
and head out the front door... my friends are what I"m waiting for!

Drive around, neutral drops, "were gonna die"
I don't care it's lots of fun, and now were on our way
hang around, smoke in the air, without a care
I'm with my friends and now I'm feeling alright!
