From the settee comes a long Sigh and a huff.

On a chair an open book faces down.

Spits and crackles come from the Logs on the fire.

Another sigh breaks the silence and a glance at the clock.

Tick –tick –tick echoes around the room.

On the arm of the settee, Fingers start Drumming, the Body shifts from side to side, yet another sigh.

Tick – tick –tick echoes around the room.

A car pulls up and stops, a door slams.

A glance at the clock and a smile creeps across her face.
