Procrastination of Suicide

Another month,
Spurred on by hope,
Awaiting saviour,
The noose hangs vacant.

Another week,
Improvement none,
Lifeless he lives,
The thoughts grow strong.

Another day,
Death renting his mind,
Hopeless he feels,
The locks have been changed.

Another minute,
He can no longer stand,
He’s lost support,
From his wooden legs.

Time stands in limbo,
All hope is gone.
His fantasias saviour,
Leaves him hanging…

The room echoes with suffocating silence.

He procrastinates no more.
