Verse Story: 2nd Entry

Between bouts of gaming,
His mouth met maidens worth blaming.

"It's not my fault!" Victor claimed,
Pushing a wiimote in the air
as he redirected mental aim.
"What she did, it wasn't fair!"
He lashed from quivered lips.
She made his heart tear.

"We were in love" he reminded
Thomas before finishing
"I was completely blindsided!"
"Her love was diminishing!"
Victor added emphatically.
She was soul-crushing.

Rose was her call
But her thorns stood sightly
and petals would often fall.
While playing Victor deftly
Discussed her painful thorns.
He complained "She was too clingy".
