Hungry Soul

Starving for affection,
Feasting on your attention.
Devouring every morsel, you toss my way.
Like a scavenger attacking its prey.

Wanting you,
Only you.
To feed the hunger of my soul.
Take away the sorrow
Promise me all of tomorrow.

I beg and plead,
Sucking the morrow from your bones.
Devouring every morsel, you toss my way.
The salvation of my hungry soul.
