I’m getting closer
To my goals
So real the steps
I have made to
Re-do my life
Awakened by the fear
Of death
Challenged by my
Sanity
Walked away from 20 years
Only to come back
Changed
I’m getting closer
To my goals
But somewhere along
The way…I lost ours.
