finding a note in the empty closet

1.As soon as I heard the sharp piercing sound of my alarm clock,
2.I slipped out of my warm comforter and entered the shockingly
3.still coldness that was the morning. I walked over to my closet.
4.The first day of school..what should I wear? I slowly opened the
5.hard brass knobs of the closet door and peered inside. When I
6.saw what I saw, my jaw dropped. All of my clothes were gone.
7.My shoes, my jackets, my t-shirts, my jeans, everything! "Who
8.could have done this?!" I whisper-yelled to myself. I sighed, but
9.then froze when I saw a white envelope on the top shelf of my
10.closet. Was it there before?!? I breathed in deeply. I cautiously
11.peeled it open and unfolded the note inside. It read, "Are you
12.scared now?" in smeared red ballpoint pen. I quickly crumpled it
13.up as my insides froze and I suddenly felt sick. "Whatever," I whispered
14. to myself while tossing the crumpled piece of paper into my bedside
15.trashcan. After I did, I knew for sure that I could feel something
16.watching me in the cold darkness of my room. I looked around my room;
17.I couldnt see anything or hear anything; no shadows, no heavy
18.breathing...but i could definitely feel something watching me. It
19.was the exact same feeling people in scary movies get before they
20.are attacked or possesed by a ghost. I nervously giggled to myself.
21. If there was someone watching me, I definitely didn't want to seem
22.to come off with negative energy. I fake smiled as wide as i could,
23. and spun around my room. Then a chill ran across me as I heard
24. a loud bump. It was my bedside trash can, which I had thrown the mysterious
25. note into.
