Journey Through Darkness

          'Journey Through Darkness'



The sense of being

stricken,

weighted,

trapped...

with lashes of

mistrust,

doubt,

inadequacy...

imparted,

torments with showers

of thunderous anger

to numbness.



The toiling of false accusations

chokes,

stifles,

suffocates...

with deadly aromas of

jealousy,

envy,

division...

lingers,

as the savy sight

of destruction winks

to lifelessness.



The crushing of a volcanic soul

allowed,

sickened,

useless...

with such idiosyncracies of

pessimism,

weakness,

failure...

overcomes,

as the spirit sings out

in freedom from fortitude

to graciousness.



The tapping of inner strength

reveals,

exhilerates,

fortifies...

with a God-given insight of

elevation,

discipline,

success...

permeating,

as trials/tribulations mysteriously unfold

into powerfulness.



The presence of struggle

disappears,

dessintegrates,

dwindles...

in the face of

unbearble ugliness,

pain,

despair...

grasping,

the beauty of the journey

beyond space and time

to happiness.



The toll of a journey that

weakens,

chisles,

cracks...

whilst still in my quest for

purpose,

perfection,

harmony...

giving,

on a journey that appears unnecessary

but significant

towards where, what, why?
