An expression of a (possibly naive) perspective of who we are
Twinkle twinkle little star,
I always ask you who we are.
Are we someone really so high?
Just be honest, don't be shy.

With that the star replied to me,
Answer is something I can't see,
When you find someone just like you,
Ask them what is really true.

I looked around and found you by,
Sparkling eyes, that I can't deny,
Asking questions that made no sense,
Almost child like innocence.

You ask me, if the world is nice.
I say that it is, only if you pay a price.
You ask me what the price could be.
The price is but your temerity.

If I were in trouble, would you save me?
Of-course, almost certainly.
Have you not paid the price,
Hence, the world is not so nice.

You turned around and gave me a smile,
That moment made it all worthwhile.
I looked above and stared at the star,
So this is who we really are.
