In life we want three things.

Feelings, such as pride, love, happiness.

Objects, but mainly because of the feelings they create. Both the shallow and the deep.

Lastly skills, because they can be used to gain objects or feelings.

Therefor the human condition revolves around emotions and how they affect and change our lives.
