A teenage life can be a hectic life. Where will Yasmin's life lead her now?
Chapter Two
School was finally over and Yasmin was packing up several suitcases with clothes, shoes, accessories, and purses. She was getting ready to head out to Los Angeles to spend the summer with her Aunt Jenny. Yasmin was excited to see her aunt, but not excited to be going to L.A. just to go and try become a famous actress for the sake of her mother. Yasmin promised her mother that would try and not just fake being a bad actress, which was Yasmin's originial plan. She knew she could act, but she never really dreamed of taking it as far as trying to get onto the big screen. Yasmin had a dream of being on television, but only as a CNN anchorwoman. She liked knowing what was really going on in the world and the thought of reporting it to everyone was even more exciting for her.
Just as Yasmin finished packing her fourth and last suitcase, her little sister Tracy walked into her room and flopped down on Yasmins' bed. Yasmin looked at her sister who looked back at her with such sad eyes. Yasmin smiled and sat down next to Tracy and gave her a sideways hug.
"Do you really have to leave? I was hoping to have the summer with you." Tracy cried.
"I know I was hoping that too. At least you'll have fun with your friends at summer camp. Who knows, maybe mom will let you come visit after you finish in three weeks. I'll talk to her about it. I know I would definitely love to have you by my side if I have to go do these annoying auditions." Yasmin groaned.
"That would be great! I hope mom let's me come visit. Maybe I could audition for something too!" Tracy suggested.
"Oh yeah! Mother would love that. I'm sure she would be in full support of that." Yasmin smiled.
