Till we meet again

This is the third time you said those words to me.
Your eyes began to get teary and your voice slowly broke off.
You knelled in front of me and asked me again, for the 4th time.
And yet I still sit on my little chair, my answer will never change.

“you’d die” you told me with trembling voice, “you’ll be save if you leave!”
I know that already. Physically, what you said were true.
I’d die if I stay, I’d live if I leave.
But what’s the point in living if my only reason to live will be gone forever?

I don’t mind being lost forever in the darkness if you’re with me.
I don’t mind losing my life if it would mean I can be with you.
But yet, you wished for another answer from me.
Still, my answer stay the same.

I can see the blue has faded from the sky, and now the only color I see was the dark crimson, the color of blood and desperation. People are screaming, running away to save their lives. And I can see it clearly; the angry flames that destroyed all things that I knew.

Our time has almost ended and I still have things to tell you;

I love you forever and ever. No matter when or where, my heart will stay the same.
Living in the world without you is no better than death itself. If we cannot be together in this time, then I’ll wait for the day when we’ll see each other again. Don’t ask me to leave without you ‘cause I’ll never survive. If it is death that awaits in front of us, I’ll face it together with you
You didn’t say a word. You knew all I said was true and I would never change my mind.
I smiled faintly and we both know that it is time for you to leave. Yes, it is your duty that you must fulfill, I can wait, and I will wait.

You looked into my eyes and I know that you understand what I feel.
I can’t live without you and so I will never leave.
I will wait, even if it takes me forever to see you again.
And I know you will return to me, even if it takes you forever to find me.
But we’ll wait, we’ll wait for the time when we’ll see each other again.

The earth has started to scream, sending every life to its’ worst nightmares.
“you have to leave” I said quietly.
You nodded and kissed me.
It is a sweet kiss, the last kiss you’ll ever give me before we part.

You smiled to me, telling me you’ll be with me again someday.
You asked me to wait forever and we promised to never forget about each other.

And like the wind, you left.
I saw your back disappearing into the darkness, bravely facing the angry flames to save people’s life.
And when I lost the sight of you, I know that the moment has finally come.

I silently watch form my window when the sky turned darker and darker.
I silently watched when darkness covers earth.
I silently watched when the earth screamed and broke apart.
I silently watched as the angry flames set its’ anger on the innocent life.
I silently watched as I lost you in the darkness.

I closed my eyes and started to pray, hoping that we will be together again someday.
My time has come to end and still, I’ll wait. I’ll wait for you forever and ever.
That is my promise to you and to myself.
