A nomad, in this desolate; parched
land I rove, time and tide being
the parallel for each; intertwining
sometimes, far-flung and elusive
to the eyes that seek! Many an-
oasis appear; some far, some near,
seldom a spout comes by; the one
that tickles all bitter to sweet!
One such water I came by, just
enough to cool off the blistering
heat. I approached and hoped,
futile as it was; to stay there
and make it my feat! Now I lay,
clueless as can be, soaking in
its freshness, wishing for another
hour of sleep! but soon i'd be on
my very own, like before; the unseen
path would be under my feet.
Moving away all i do is pray, may
this oasis be under God's loving
sheath, for someone blessed shall
have it to his caring meet!
