heya sky of black and blue
how i long to just stare at you
on this deck my still body lays
and on this ground it will soon fade
in this sky true colours blend
forming a picture of an endless life
a picture sent by the lights in the sky

a picture formed by my imperfect mind
bringing harmony to this mortal life

to this life i cling and pull through
about this life im afraid im a fool
so come away with me to my secret world
the sun does know of your fright
it'll break through the clouds into your feeble mind
you can talk to her day and she'll answer alright

colours in the sky, you make me believe
of an ending that's awaiting before me
rays of the sun, you warm my every bone
reflecting it to my soul

elements in the sky come together one more time
help collect the scattered around this earth
draw the line of this path we should take
draw it fine for it's the trouble at stake

And when you colours unify
take my soul and fly it so high
i want it bare and beautiful
i want it free
i want it there and right here with me
