Well, Daddy dear,
The day is now here,
Though I never imagined it would be today.

You asked me to be strong,
And I've been for this long,
It gets harder though, with each passing day.

The time that we shared
And how much I know you cared
Can never be taken away.

You helped me find a way to go on,
And taught me that I must take life's twists, come what may.
