Conversions in India

The right way to approach this would be to look at the root cause.



There are two parties to this.

1) The non-Hindus that are trying to convert the Hindus

2) The Hindus that are willing to be converted



Which, out of these two parties do we, as a free nation promising

freedom of speech and liberty and equality and all that paraphernalia

that we call our constitution control better?



The non-Hindus have external financing, re very well organised and

have lots of time and other materials at their disposal. So we (Hindus

that is) cannot control that (unless bombing Mecca or The Vatican is

considered to be an option - and that would make me wonder how many

Hindu bombs would be needed to kill all the non-Hindu party 1 - but I

digress). I would like to suppose that this party is very difficult to

control in any sense of the word.



That leaves party 2. Now, if we are intelligent, we need to see WHY

these Hindus are agreeing to be converted to becoming non-Hindus.

Whether being converted to Buddhism (many SC/STs have converted) or to

Xtianity or to Islam - the root cause needs to be looked at.



There are rich and poor, across all economic strata, multiple castes

that are agreeing to be converted.



Do we see a lot of Brahmins converting?

Do we see any other castes converting?

What is the common factor that is tying all these people that are

converting? Are they tribals that have been neglected by the

government for 60 years since the great independence that we city

dwellers are so proud of? Are entire villages being converted? If so -

what is the reason for the conversion.



If you analyse this - you will have the answer to your issues.



The answer will be to counter whatever factors your studies find as

being the root causes of conversion.



You will, in a few short 5-year plans, be able to stop the wave of

conversion and maybe even reverse any conversions that have taken

place.



I am a mere theoretician. I sit in my armchair and, armed with a

laptop, I can spew empty words.



But what we need is action at the grass roots level.



So the first step would be to get a detailed and finely granular data

bank of all those people that have been converted.



After that I have outlined the steps above.
