Untitled Poem 1

Don't cry for me when I'm gone
I've been dead all along
Long ago my soul took flight
Through the stillness of the night
Searching for an end of sorrow
Never again to see tomorrow
There were demons in my mind
Urging me to leave the world behind
That along with them I should go
And leave behind all I know
All this time my body's been a shell
Where all my secrets stayed to dwell
All these things buried deep
While I longed for eternal sleep
The only promise that is left
Is that everything ends with death
Everyone you love will die
One by one as times goes by.
