We are love, we are free

Unbelieveable, that is one thing that is true,
not to us, but I am sure to you.
We loved each other, and the world around us,
we were sure that the future held peace and happiness.

We danced and we sang,
we took off our clothes and painted beautiful colors on our skin,
we spoke againest violence and corruption. We walked in peace.
We experimented with everything, so that we could conceive every perspective on the highest plain.
We tasted color, felt sounds,
we dared to look inside our own minds.

Everyday was a new adventure, new people to meet
new places to see. We loved all things first, without preformed opinions.
we lived everyday celebrating peace,
war loomed over us.
We supported the causes that would improve our world
and we were sure we would prevail.
The world would change.

We wore flowers in our hair and loved our children.
We acted, we cared,
we were, and we still are.

We still look out on the beauty of our planet and hope our dreams are not dead, we believe the good is still here , just maybe alittle forgotten.
We keep faith in mankind, we pray for love.
