Rock Bottom

This persevering pest eats at my soul
Coldness seeps its way in slipping through splits
My hope takes a plunge losing all control
Time has lost and numbers brake to small bits

The wind carries my whisper of pleading
The moonlight has strayed falling from the sky
These rocky roads leave my bare feet bleeding
Wide open space between nature and I

Desolation spread its wings over me
My tears are sickened, they are the victim
Waves come crashing from the sea with fury
This place of anguish is my rock bottom
