A story I wrote when I was 7
One boiling hot day, The Giant Sharks, my class at school, decided to go to the movies. We saw a film about a little boy who was playing in the garden when a space ship came to earth and aliens were crawling out of it. We didn't get to see all of the film because it was past three o'clock. We needed Mrs Simon, our teacher, but we couldn't find her anywhere.
Then Gabby said, "Before, she needed to go to the toilet."
Joshua said, "I'll peer in every toilet!"
"No you won't!" said Zareena, and Kim added "You're with me, Zareena. We will..."
"STOP FIGHTING!" Monica and I yelled.
"All right, but where is Mrs Simon then?" said Mitchell.
"I know where she is!" exclaimed Mary. "It's a boiling hot day, and she said she wanted to buy an icecream, so maybe she's buying one now!"
Hiba went to look in the ice-cream parlour. She came back and said that our teacher wasn't there.
Then Mandish said," I don't care where she is. I'm tired and I want to walk back to school."
Ragavan said,"If you're tired why do you want to walk back to school?"
Mustafa said, "Let's catch a bus!"
When we found a bus, we got in. We went past the pool, and I said to the driver,"STOP!!! I think I saw Mrs Simon at the pool!"
So we got out of the bus and had a look and there she was.
She said, "Don't do that again! I said we were going to the pool because it was so hot. When I saw you weren't listening, I went by myself, to punish you. But we can go back to school now. I need to talk to Mrs George."
When we got back to school Mrs George was nowhere to be found.....
