Drowning Poet

I don't know,
But you tell me
Did Shakespeare ever lose
His mind?
I feel like a hurricane
Of words just
Consumed me and now,
I'm swimming
In all the things I ever said

They start to say,
"You lied to me?"
Questioning my saneness
Well, I AM insane!
You believed me?
That's a first!

...Now a second,
...Now a third,
...A fourth...

A millionth...

I think
I need to start
Telling the truth
We all need to
Stop lying...

Because now, I'm drowning
In all the things
I ever said
Like remembering the things
That mattered,
Remembering things
I should've taken back

I don't know,
