A random thought

i had gotten used to the way
i can get things happen everyday
Good or bad, great or daunted
They would be exactly as I wanted

it's not like me
to let things spin out of control
i could be free
but that's how I roll

but there's nothing i can do
about the silence growing
problems out of the blue
separate us like flames hissing

so it's up to you
to save us from this all
and when you do
eliminate this distance for once and for all
