I have successfully led prominent groups on and off campus while attending university and thereafter. • I am a friendly person who is popular amongst my peers and colleagues, while being a natural leader in every situation, while still maintaining the ability to listen to directions and perform tasks according to direction successfully. • I have been actively involved in every country I have resided in for the last nine years through community service, involvement in the government and various outside community-focused organizations. PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS • I was employed by my university to lead the student leaders and organize the new student orientation for the 2004 academic year at Azusa Pacific University in California. • I was the principal writer for the entertainment section of our university newspaper and wrote commendable articles reviewing music, books, plays and various other aspects of the entertainment industry as well as current, hard news stories. • I organized and hosted my own radio show one to two times per week on the campus station KAPU. • I was chosen to act as student liaison between the student body and the journalism department at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. • I have been writing for various independent publications, reporting on current events and reviewing various aspects of various communities throughout my student and professional career. • I spent two years as chief reporter for a community newspaper in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand where I also worked as the principal photographer as well as assisting with graphic design, sales, promotions, editing and layout while writing, on average, 18 to 25 hard news stories, advertorials and event reviews per week. • I assist various venues and events in America and overseas, writing reviews for websites, publications and various forms of media upon request, and have been taking on freelancing opportunities since my journalistic start in 2003.
