I saw the Sun come down and go up again
I saw the Moon pull the waves watched them
Crash, watched them fall
I saw the windows shatter and the rooves* fall in
I saw it all.

I saw the Sun come down and go up again
I watched the night blanket the earth and sighed
I saw windows rebuilt and homes dug in

I saw the Sun come down and go up again
I saw the Moon pull the waves watched them
Crash, watched them fall
I saw the people rebuild their huts sometimes stronger
I saw the beauty of life in it's making.
