Have you seen the shadows

Shadows of my past huanting me.
Torment, reminders of death and hope.
Giving it all for family and love.
Times of everything slipping into nothing.
Trying so hard to cope.
Looking for help from above.
Shadows creeping, moving after me.

A child loss of a mother.
Dreams and nightmares.
The past bringing you down, Looking after your father.
I had it all love , car , job , a home and yet nobody cares.
Can't face the day, not today.
An angel blinded.
For the shadows hide who i am to make me pay.

Got to change, leave this life.
Start a new, go for my dreams.
Marry the angel and make my wife.
Tears run down in streams.
Shadows hold tight not letting go.
My angel still blind and passing me by.
All turns into sadness and woes.

How can i fight a shadow?
How can i make an angel see?
There is more to me.
