One friend

For the better part of my life i always referred to myself as a stone
that gathers no moss, but the best part of it all is that
i happened to have gathered a particular moss in my life
that moss is you

by chance i met u and unlike the others that fell by the wayside,
u stayed put, putting up with all my crap
one thin i kno for sure tho
is that am glad u stayed, cos u have been a really gud friend

Atleast now i can luk bak and boast of one friend
one friend who in actual fact is worth a thousand
one friend, who i can talk to when i need to
one friend that gives the support a million cannot
one friend that puts me on my knees
thanking God for bringing him into my life

i guess one friend is all we really need
and since i have found my one friend
the world seems a better place to me.
