The brush strokes of God
I wish that modern man
Did not obstruct my view
Their synthetic structures mar
The beauty that is You

I want to see Your portrait
Painted across the sky
While the rain that falls from heaven
Softly beats a lullaby

I think I'd like to feel the seasons
Changing every hue
So reverse the curse of worldliness
And bring me back to You
