Meg's Mail

Based on an email from a great wdc friend.

Possums visit in the Yeppoon night
and birds sing in the morning light.
The dawn comes fresh and cool,
in the empty lots Wallabies duel.

It is different here than Townsville
and a new place is always a thrill.
My dear friend Meg has moved.
Happily, the new digs are approved.

A son and family instead of empty nest,
being with others is always the best.
Obviously attracted by her keen wit,
in the Yeppoon night Possums visit.
