Hopeless devotion
I am nothing
I have the darkest nights thinking about how we had the brightest days.
I sleep to escape the pain of thinking about how we never slept.
I hide from my feelings remembering how I used to broadcast my old emotions.
The longevity and permanence of this new state only accent the brilliance and beauty of the past.

I am lost
I look to others thinking about you
I make countless mistakes in a worthless attempt to find something worthy
I need guidance to find anything but red in everything I see
The days pass without the lifting a rude and bold blindfold that has consumed not only my eyes but also my mind body and soul.
