Enemy

They don't know what they're fighting,

                                  they fight hard.

They realize their enemy,

          and  stop.

                                    Why?

      Why when it's revealed
 
Does the battle lose its

                          Worth?

Can't you fight knowing?

        You would have died

  not.

            Do you realize what it's not

    Worth?

Such a weak foe

  Yet weak, it

          Binds

Two for two,

One for the other

            All is lost to

Them

World                                Unintelligible.

Beyond reach of

    Believers,

Forcing itself on

          ones who don't

            and disclosing it's heart

      to those it

                trusts,

To be abused,  outcast

      s h a t t e r e d

Denied,

when all it needed was



Itself.
