BETRAYAL

Behold her sulking

on the wooden bench,

alone she whimpers,

without her only friend.

She knows this is betrayal,

and hopes it isn't real.

betrayal you can say,

is a part of life,

but seeing her weep so miserably,

you would think it is a result of a strong strife.

why should she be the only one,

to bear the pain?

and for whom?

wake up girl,

from this nightmare of sorrow,

don't sleep with this pain,

there's always hope in tomorrow.
