Creative poem on the four seasons
Rays of sun beam down on me
Wishing i was some place cold to be
Im the one where fun and sun begins
When band-aids are layered up on our chins
I am Summer
First flake hits the mushy ground today
This is now the end of our outdoor play
My body is cold from head to toe
From this bitter obsession called snow
I am Winter
Flowers, Tulips and Rosebuds galore
The rain falls down on me some more
Easter is still yet to draw nearer
As a family photo taken in the mirror
I am Spring
These passionate belongings from trees plunge down
As we take a windy walk into town
Raking leaves for my beloved Aunt Sue
Is not a career we are longing to do
I am Fall
