Its breeze is taunting me
I enjoy the quiet darkness
The evening still and warm
A sticky summer mist does fall
And the air is full of charm

An open window lets it in
It beckons me to come
A silent breeze disturbs the leaves
And is tempting me to run

Where it will take me I know not
But I know I do not care
For freedom, love and secret things
Are hiding in that air

I can smell it as it blows on by
I slowly breathe it in
There's a dream that hides within the night
And 'tis now that it begins
