A look into the journey into the realm of hell..
The pain was instant,
a sharp vice, piercing my being.
I shudder and shriek,
overcome by treacherous pain.
A burning flame,
ignited deep in my soul.
Somehow I survive,
this personal hell, seeping over me.
Torture, seemingly endless,
coursing through my drying veins.
Then over, subsiding completely.
A new desire, a thirst,
raging hunger that no food can satisfy.
Searching for the crimson cure,
finding the answer in those I once loved.
Their being, their essense,
which I take greedily, forcefully.
Leaving the victim, I search the night,
for an explanation, another victim.
Insatiable thirst, driving me.
Darkness beckons,
light only brings pain, suffering,
A smoldering demise.
So I seek refuge in darkness,
a cloak of moonlight, midnight.
A dawning realization,
the suns the enemy.
Life, now eternal damnation,
humans, now my prey.
I am now one of them.
