DARK HOPE

I walk down this road under the bright stars
on my own,when I feel so sad and
lonely,the time seems to pass you
by,yet you question why,has this
world all disowned me!

You search for a reason,is my
heart in the right place,will it be
the same thing next season,will
I still be in the same place!

As I walk down this dark open road,
I just want my life to end,I just want
to implode! with feelings like this,
I know there not my own!

So I keep on walking, as the night
turns into day,but then I see myself
and still feel the same way! I'll keep
walking down this road today,

Maybe there will be someone walking
the opposite way! the morning changes
into afternoon, this road called life,
sends me feelings of impending doom!

When theres nothing going on in your
life,nothing but gloom! a sign up ahead
says dont give up to soon! there maybe
someone waiting for you,come this time
next june!

With a promise like this,it made me stop,
even know I wanted to resist! as I keep
walking this road,I came up on a twist,
to my surprise,standing there was a man
pumping his fist!

He shouted to me,your almost there!
that person you've been waiting for,
will steal your heart,and there love will
be sincere! as the day dwindled to night,
I looked so forward to the twilight,

knowing this is where I started,just
last night,this road became familiar as
rounded the bend,am I back to where
I started,am I back to the end! from out
of the darkness,I recognized a familiar
face,

A man with long hair,just standing in
one place! he told me to say nothing,
You already know who I am,Im the
christ your savior,you just need to
take my hand!

With tears in his eyes,he said,child
why do you want to die! I said to him,
I have nothing to live for,and this is my
reason why! so he placed his hand
on my head

And this is what he then said,your a
child of mine,everything now is fine,
I will take away all those bad thoughts,
and replace them with a bouquet of
forget-me-nots!

I'll give you all my power and control,
to find your loving soul,never lose any
hope,If you ever need me,I will always
be here to help you cope!!! JESUS CHRIST
