"Hiding Within"
Smothered in the dark
Struggling to breathe
Pain and dispair
My black eyes seethe
How did i get here
What have i become
My heart racing
My body gone numb
Not knowing if i'll get back
To the other side
Walls around, built within
Forced to run and hide

"Reality Check"
I see a tunnel
Standing in my way
No light to see
No night, no day
An echoing flutter
An icy breeze
Choking my lungs
Like a living disease
The thunderous roar
Pounding a steady beat
My pale, numb fingers
Clenching the seat
As light comes, i look and see
A sunken face scarred with pain
Staring into my own hardened eyes
In the window of this train

"Our Future, Our Fate"
How are we free?
Truly are we?
When we are judged and accused;
In fear of being beaten and abused.

How are we without chains?
How can we just ignore these pains?
When to us OUR government lies;
Hiding all their secrets and spies.

How can we be so blind?
How can we hide the truth in our minds?
While against clear wrongs we will not fight;
Afraid of not being "in the right"!

Why wont we stand up and speak?
Shout from every valley, every mountain peak!
When will we remove the scales and see?
What will our future be?

"The Risen, The Fallen"
Some of us were meant to fly
Meant to soar
Meant to be great
Meant to be more
While the rest of us
Are meant to fall
Walking around aimlessly
Having lost it all

“Escape by the Moonlight”
The moonlit sway
Drawing me near
Stealing away
My worries and fears
My feet sinking in the sands
As our fingertips meet
A smile curling her lips
A miracle so sweet
Slipping away
Off the crest of this shore
To sail away forever
Together evermore
