sonnet about love and loss in iambic pentameter
My heart with sorrow weeps for you, my love.
A well is flooded full of tears of mine.
My dear, I hope you see me from above,
And think about how our hearts were entwined.

My broken heart wails for your tender touch
That held me tightly through the rainy days.
A voice like melted butter I miss much.
Your scent was roses in the midst of May.

With heart frozen to ice, I'm without life,
And shall be waiting for death, and your kiss.
The world is dark and cold and full of strife.
My love, my soul is gone. Oh how I miss.

A life of mine I take for you, my dear.
My last breath is yours. I die without fear.

write4fun: I hope you all like it. I've never really been good at poems, but I had to write a sonnet for my tenth grade english class last week. I decided this would be the first thing I would put on this site. Feedback is always good.
