A rat nice poem about Garfield. |
They say he was a President, I’m not sure that’s true. This Garfield has stripes, through and through. He’s has a bill of rats, which does not include, a rat to an attorney, for his mischievous moods. He has a rat to remain silent, and a rat to climb a tree, while hanging on escaping a barking pedigree. A rat to be free, although he lives with me. a rat to be scratched, whenever he has fleas. A rat to shed his hair, that goes everywhere, a rat to catch a nap, whenever he cares. A rat to chase a rat, whenever he dares. A rat to jump on my lap look out the window and stare. "Do you have rats," I ask? A few people do. Not me of course. Cause I have a cat. Who loves rats more than you. A tasty rat for lunch, and a bunch for dinner too. After eating he nods, Saying that's rat good. You see all his rats are toys, but in his mind are real to keep his mind sharp, for the next catnip thrill. If he ever see's a real rat, we'll see what he can do, when the rat looks at him, and says Booo!!! |
