"My Selves And Me"

Down on my knees I give praise to the heavens above,
Validation of of my heart given with acceptance of my words,
I no longer feel like I am screaming without sound,
They hear me, they hear me, my heart has been found,
My world, I've created with only my presence for so long,
Others threw rocks at it thinking it wasn't strong,
I am different, unique indeed,
Intelligent enough to blend when need be,
My secret exposed for you all to see,
My gift from above especially for me,
I scream it out as I pound on my keyboard,
No one has seen my heartache before, Oh Lord!
I have let you in one by one to peer at me,
All my selves staring out not used to what they see,
Others embracing all of us one by one,
Learning my skin will not burn if I stand in the sun,
They giggle so loud, happy from the inside out,
Lifting me pass critical self doubt,
The sweet, mean, happy, sad, cocky, cool parts of me,
Together my selves sigh with relief,
We made it,
It is how it should be.......
