You betray me before you walk away and you know you do,
it's age old, primeval, it's even part of the glue.

I leave you in your ego, know now that your lost.
Within your raging fury our whole worlds being tossed.

You don't understand my resistance or that I'll run a mile,
from all you invite even if i do dabble for awhile.

Let me go babe, you don't pocess what I desire,
I'm only passing time, not connecting with the fire.

I will never ever love you in the way that you demand,
Its completely inevitable like the shifting of the sands.

So whose betraying who? and whose the one who walks?
I'm deaf to your words even though your mouth talks..
