I have writers block.
I have writers block.
My fingers are tip-tapping on the keyboard, quickly, restlessly, as if to say, "tell us to make something productive"
As much as I attempt to, my fingers always seem to land on the dreaded (or sometimes celebrated) BACKSPACE button.
And I start over.
My mind is a traffic jam of words, thoughts, ideas, musings, all of which are not up to my so-called standards.
I write to let my inner-most emotions and thoughts be known, however, they are always stubborn and slow, or eccentric and jolting, which do not help my predicament.
I am left tip-tapping a mess of words.
I just used the backspace again.
Some nights, I write for hours, my hand (or fingers) cannot write, (or type) fast enough, I fall back onto my pillow, exhausted but satisfied, as if I ran a marathon. My fingers ache, and twitch slightly. I close my eyes, still darting back and forth, reading my thoughts and dream.
But not tonight.
