Take a look into the mind of a kid, with big dreams, but no sleep.

Laying in bed, static runs across the ceiling.
Every movement being traced, with trails of static.
Sounds of the fan whirling on and on, plagues my mind.
Is this sleep? Or is it being half awake physically, but fully awake in mind.
Who decides exactly what sleep is, or the requirements to dream.
I want a big house, and nice cars. I want a loving wife.
So I dream.
Never fully awake, but never asleep.
Feelings of self-doubt, and non-chalant notions toward a spiriling life going down the ally.
The kind of ally people wouldn't usually walk down, but thats where its heading.
I want nice guitars. I want a high-paying job.
So I dream.
Ideas forming in the back of my head, holding conversations in the front.
Memories shy to step in. Some bad, some good. Most..good.
Lying to myself to make a life out of nothing at all.
I want designer clothes, I want scores of friends.
So I dream.
Finding happiness in the smallest things. Music fills my ears.
The steely notes bouncing around my brain.
Telling me everything will be fine in the morning.
I want true love, and I want true happiness.
So I dream...
