shows the pain of a broken heart
A broken heart which bleeds because it cannot mend
But the pain is nonexistent - or so I can pretend.
And the lies with which you poison my ears
Are no more deafening - no more overwhelming fears;

And now the skipping beats that start to fade
Are getting hard to bear - there is silence in the grave,
Silence in the heart,
All is slowly dying and ripping me apart.

A broken heart which bleeds because it cannot mend
But the pain is nonexistent - or so I can pretend.
And the truth from your lies
Is revealed in the hesitance within your eyes.

The heart which died long ago
Is no more a concern to my soul.
The beats that skipped are forgotten memories
And the bones now putrid snap easily as trees.

A broken heart which bleeds because it cannot mend
But the pain is nonexistent - or so I can pretend.
And the madness buried deep within my mind -
All my thoughts chaotic - peace is getting hard to find.

The silence is overwhelming no more
Or so I can believe when it's silent in the core.
The lack of air still irritates my dying lungs
And the poison in your lies spoken in multiple tongues

Still is here to feed the rising hate
And the malevolence in your voice - so irate;
And the sweetness of your voice is long forgotten -
The broken heart won't mend because the veins are rotten.
