Life is a journey we all must travel
Choices we must make, chances we take
The souls we meet along the way
The ones who touch our hearts day by day
We give we take, to ease the pain
The hurt we cause in turn love we foresake
Scars in time diminished never forgotten
Flaws of youth recalled in the eyes of fate
Mistakes of the past revisited hope not repeated
Friendships long worn away thru time
To trust completely, trusted renewed
We listen in turn to be heard, to share
No promises made no lies spoken
Only in faith to be held nearer, distant
To help heal the wounds time has not
A gift offered another, our ability
Allies we acquire in, fear of none
A hand we offer, we take in aide
The future uncertain, we have but today
No games to play only to confuse
Honesty integrity, freely open to display
