With his own live action film in the works to be relesed july 16,2010. I have decided to bring you his story from day one. How he created and his rise to becoming one of marvels most loved character.

It all started in 1962 a come to star editor stan lee and penciller jack kirby needed a new hero witch was never done to a comic.Then it came to stan lee"How do you make someone stronger then the strongest person? It finally came to me: dont make him human- make him a god not like a greek god but a norse god like looking like vikings with helments and battle clubs, so I picked Thor to headline.

So journey into mystery got a new hero and thor got his frist comic on aug. 1962 #83 and stayed the head runner till march 1966 till the comic turned to the Mighty Thor witch ran to comic #521 witch was the last issue.

Vol 2 returned thor to the marvel universe with a 85 issue run with ending the vol with a event called avengers disassembled, witch later killed off thor at the end of the run.

September of 2007 a revamp of thor came out called vol 3 the frist 3 comics all sold out and growing strong

Back to the live action film mark protosevich has made a script in 2007 and plans to be a epic story like lord of the rings, 300 feel and with a new directer placed at the helm kenneth branagh will bring thor to all the world.
