This poem talks about the effects of my wife
The effects of you

Every time you’re name is spoken, a smile spreads on my face, like some little boy
who has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

The words of kindness you have often spoken to me come ringing back like church bells
and I feel stronger than before, as if I can take on the whole world and win!

The smile you wear drives me nuts for the simple fact that when you smile it seems the
whole world is right even if for a brief moment, and all the problems of life just
seem to melt away like hot wax.

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful woman in my life that would dare to take
a chance on me and allow me to experience sacrificing love.

After a long day at work, thoughts of you seem to calm me down, allowing me to
focuses on the one thing that matters the most you and I.

What we share is something that can never be bought or sold for mere gold or
Silver, because it will never
Give me the confidance you have or can give me.

During the times, it has seemed that my tears are my drink and sorrow my food,
you come along and cause me to rejoice in knowing you. My tears dry up, my
sorrow is no more and from my heart rings a song all day!

In the times, my path leads through the desert and it seems I am not going to make
it because of thirst, you come along with refreshing water from the fountain of
mercy and allow me to drink and taste of its sweetness.

When I lose my direction in life and do not know which way to go, you gently take
me by the hand and point me on the right path and help me along the way,
encouraging me expressing your belief in me saying “You can do it!"

What I am trying to say is thank you for being you!
